Braces

  • Traditional metal braces: These are the most common type of braces, consisting of metal brackets and wires that apply pressure to straighten teeth.
  • Ceramic braces: Similar to metal braces but with clear or tooth-colored brackets, making them less noticeable.
  • Lingual braces: Braces attached to the back surface of the teeth, making them virtually invisible from the front.

Clear Aligners

  • Invisalign: Custom-made clear aligners that gradually move teeth into alignment. They are removable and virtually invisible when worn.
  • 3M Clarity: Another brand of clear aligners that function similarly to Invisalign.

Orthodontic Appliances

  • Palatal expanders: Devices used to widen the upper jaw to create more space for crowded teeth.
  • Headgear: External orthodontic appliance used to correct overbites or underbites by applying force to the upper jaw and teeth.
  • Retainers: Custom-made appliances worn after braces are removed to maintain the position of the teeth.

Orthognathic Surgery

Surgical procedures performed to correct severe malocclusions or jaw discrepancies that cannot be corrected with orthodontic treatment alone.

Interceptive Orthodontics

Early orthodontic treatment: Intervention in childhood to address orthodontic issues such as crossbites, crowding, or thumb sucking habits.

Space Maintenance

Appliances used to preserve space in the dental arch for permanent teeth that have not yet erupted, often used after premature loss of primary teeth.

TADS

Temporary Anchorage Devices, or TADs, are small titanium anchors used in certain orthodontic cases to help achieve quicker tooth movement with more efficiency and comfort. TADs may be used in addition to braces or as an alternative to headgear.
